Its actually one of my own Home Brews, its a dark chocolate porter with the background hints of coffee and almost a caramel but not sweet. the last batch was around 10% and its called Antimatter Ale. Devastatingly strong, Very smooth with a great finish and well ... needless to say, the stuff is really good and very strong.. Two things i love in a great beer.

Anderson Valley brewery, "Barney flats oatmeal stout" and you have to love "Old Rasputin russian imperial stout" from northcoast brewers.. (both are northern california brewers).. then there's "Stone brewery" in southern california that does a russian imperial stout that is AWESOME!

Two of my faves! First time I had an Old Rasputin was in the ski lodge at Boreal. I swear that when I finished the glass, there was still a 1/2" of creamy head on the bottom!

Two of my current favorites are "1554" from Ft. Collins Brewery (the Fat Tire folk) - I like to call it "5150"... and Black Butte stout from Chico, CA.
